  2. Some great applications there. I particularly second the choice of truecrypt and Avira; both are fine programs and I use them all the time.

    As for defragmenting, I never really liked the freeware apps I tried since they lack essential features like MFT defrag, simultaneous drive defrag etc. FYI I have yet to find any defragger better than Diskeeper 2008. It’s not freeware, but an awesome program nonetheless and far superior to the freeware alternatives.

  14. I have been using bitdefender virus software, but considering changing now, as it seems to have let one through - the “antivirus 2009″ one that high-jacks your browser! Its really annoying and trying to get rid of it, as bitdefender is not aware it has infected my computer!

  15. Hi, It’s me again. I have try out “1- Keep viruses away with Avira Antivirus”. Thumb Up. Guess what. Lots of virus warning in my pc. It eats less resource compare to others anti virus program. Good :p I will stick to this anti virus program
