Turn Off Windows Faster with Slawdog Smart Shutdown

For such simple need, that’s irritatingly longer than turning off a TV! With tools as powerful as a computer, it should not be that slow. With Slawdog Smart Shutdown, turning off your computer is just a click away.
Slawdog Smart Shutdown is a free utility that allows you to shutdown, log off, reboot, lock, power off, etc. both manually and automatically. Once installed, the program will automatically run in your system tray. To accomplish a one click shutdown, you can choose to left click the Smart Shutdown system tray icon or double click on the “Turn Computer Off” icon on your desktop.
Slawdog Smart Shutdown wasn’t named smart for only one reason. Here are its additional features:
- Support most of MS Windows shutdown options - turn off, log off, reboot, lock, power off, hibernate, disconnect from the internet/network and go to stand by mode.
- Support Windows versions in between Windows 95 to 2003 Server.
- Able to shut down network computers.
- Execute a chosen action based on any given time with “At” or “After“.
- Execute a chosen action when your computer is idle for any minutes - for example, instruct Slawdog to shutdown your computer after 30 minutes of idle / inactive time.
- Profiles support for multiple user’s different shutdown needs.
- Password protect default scheduled actions and settings from evil (or extra creative) users.
- Automatically close annoying “End Task” pop-ups during shutdown process (optional).
and more. Slawdog Smart Shutdown is one of those simple programs that I love to have it installed in any of my Windows computer. Reducing shutdown time from 4 steps to 1 is quite an achievement, don’t you agree?

To proper and fast windows shutdown I use Power Off Key program. To shutdown just press ScrollLock on the keyboard. It’s very simple and shows stylish end logo before shutdown.
You may take it from my site toycatsoft.com.
It’s not freeware but free to try.

Hope this tool safly shutdown Windows other wise it would cause startup erorr.
