Protect your Photos with Watermarks Online – PicMarkr

December 31, 2007 – 9:00 pm

A watermark is a text or image on top of your photos / images, used to protect your photos from somebody that might used it without your permission. Normally, the watermarking process is done offline with some photo editing tools but with Picmarkr, you can now do it online!

PicMarkr Features

  • Upload your images in bulk (max is 5) and have it watermarked online.

  • Grab photos directly from Flickr and have it watermarked on the fly (Cool!).
  • Three watermarking options – text, pictures or tiled.
  • Watermarks alignment – put it on the left, right and more. Put it on the center for extreme protection.
  • Easy peasy usage – everything is done online and the interface is quite dumbproof.
  • FOC! – we all love free stuffs, don’t we? :D
  • Image resizing options – three fixed size (width: 500, 800, 1024) are available to resize your images

Once you are finished, you can download all of your pictures one by one or in a bulk .zip archive. You can also upload your watermarked photos to Flickr from within PicMarkr.

Downside: I wish that they change the “resize” pictures with a user defined scale instead of three fixed size. Other than that, PicMarkr should add flexible opacity options for the watermarks, instead of leaving users with few fixed options.

Overall, PicMarkr does a great job of simplifying the tasks of protecting your pictures with watermarks online – with no software to install and a low learning curve. Try PicMarkr today and protect your lovely photos with watermarks!
