Imagine Stixy as your campus / school bulletin board - you can post notes, pictures, events and documents on it. The only thing that is different is Stixy is a bulletin board in a virtual, online form. Just like your good old bulletin board, Stixy is quite dumb proof. The developers had manage to make this online collaboration tools as easy an accessible by everyone.
Things That You Can Put on Stixy (Widgets)
Here are things that you can put inside a Stixy board:
1- Note - use this as your normal Post-It notes. Add events, project list, etc.
2- Photo - you can also use Sticky as a photo album with this. Upload as many images that you want. Set Stixy in “Guest Mode” to allow friends and families view your latest photos.
3- Document - upload and share documents among peers.
4- Todo - add your todo / group todo list if you intend to use your Stixy board with others.
Unique Features of Stixy
- Dual mode - you can set your Stixy board as “Guest Only” or invite others to collaborate on a Stixy board
- Unlimited board - you can have as many Stixy bulletin board as you want. Each board can have its own users and settings.
- Editable widgets - all Widgets has its own tweakable options. For example, you can upload a photo and have a frame created around it in very few clicks!
- Free form - edit, resize and move widgets around. Stixy wants you to breaks the rule of rigid design of a typical collaboration tool.

Stixy looks like a great product for students however feel its lacking in the professional department. Dumbing down the product for simpler use makes the program more like AOL then any other P.M. software. Again since this product looks like it is intended more for student use business professionals should look to Communicliques software to fulfill their business needs.I have implemented this software into the infrastructure of my office and it has yielded positive results. So as great as Stixy looks I have to recommend to leave Stixy to the students , I am staying with Communiclique.

No doubt that Stixy is a simple and great product for students. Anyway, for professionals or mid-size organizations that are looking for a comprehensive online collaboration/project management tool, I am recommending this www.ajaxworkspace.com.
