Batch Resize Multiple Photos with Photoscape

September 14, 2007 – 11:12 pm

Resizing a single photo is easy, but resizing multiple images one by one are tedious, repetitive work. Photoscape, one of the easiest and most intuitive photo editor around has the “Convert All” function that you can use to batch resize multiple photos in bulk.

Here are the complete steps to bulk resize your photos with Photoscape:

1- Open Photoscape. From the menu, click on the “Batch Editor” icon. The batch editor workspace will be opened.

4- One way to resize is that you can use the preselected resizing options by clicking on the icons shown below. Select the one that suits your needs best - e.g “Reduce the length: 400 px”. A real time preview of the changes done will be available at the centre of the workspace

5- The other way is to use the combo box options as shown below.

8- It will take some time for Photoscape to resize your images.

9- Done. All my photos are nicely saved in the Output folder. My original files are preserved - good to have if some of the changes were unsatisfactory.

Bonus Tips:

From the “Batch Editor” workspace, there are many other things you can do in bulk, for example, add a nice border to all the resized photos.
