Firefox Fun: FireFTP Ftp Client Add On
August 30, 2007 – 11:24 pmFancy doing ftp file transfers of your website content from within the Firefox browser? Mime Cuvalo had created a nice Firefox add on called FireFTP that lets you do this. You can download and install FireFTP here for free.

FireFTP has a dual pane interface, just like other FTP client software and its interface is very intuitive and clean cut. Along with basic file transfer functions, FireFTP includes other additional features such as:
-
SSL / TLS support for a more secure ftp transaction.
-
Directory synchronization – you can sync between local folders and your web folders easily.
-
Directory comparison – compare local and remote directories to check out file differences.
-
Automatic reconnect support.
-
Multiple FTP mode – automatic, binary or ASCII.
-
Drag and drop – awesome support for file drag and drop – within Firefox!
-
Proxy support for non direct ftp connection.
-
CHMOD support – easily change file permissions (read, write or execute) from FireFTP interface.
Firefox add ons is continuing to improve from day to day thanks to excellent support from developers from all over the world. FireFTP is one of the most useful add ons to date, so make sure you take advantage of a Firefox add ons!
