August 21, 2007 – 11:21 pm
Previously, I’ve shown you how to send Twitter updates using text messages on your hand phone. If you want to save some money (you have to pay for local sms rate) and you are constantly online with your Firefox browser, Twitterbar is a simple Firefox plugin that let you post Twitter updates from your Firefox address bar.
Three Ways You Can Use TwitterBar
Make sure you install the Twitterbar plugin first and restart your Firefox browser to activate it.
1- Type your post on Firefox’s address bar and click the green icon to update your Twitter page.

2- Type your post on Firefox’s address bar with a –post at the end for a quicker post.
3- Type in a URL of your choice and click the green icon to share links with your followers immediately.
Bonus TwitterBar Tips:
1- Immediately open your Twitter page after a post with the “Open Twitter in new tab after posting“
2- Save your Twitter login details to make postings faster via the TwitterBar plugin options (Tools –> Add-ons, Select TwitterBar –> Options).
