FileHippo.com is a great website that displays great applications in one simple page. Better yet, they have created an application, FileHippo.com Update Checker (Udc.exe) that you can download to check software updates for applications installed on your PC.
How Do I Use FileHippo.com Udc.exe?
Step 1 - Download FileHippo.com Update Checker to your Desktop (or anywhere you like!). If you don’t already installed Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, download and install it first .
Step 2 - Run it - the file name is udc.exe. Once it has finished running, a browser page will pop up displaying installed applications in your PC that can be updated. Mine was like this:
Step 3 - Click the green arrow on any application that you want to download. Install it and there you have it, clean, updated software!
Summary
With FileHippo.com Update Checker, you don’t have to check each software websites to download software updates. The application will do it for you. Continuously updating your freeware will result in better system security and performance so do your updates today!
